Wheel Throwing Intensive

Our wheel throwing Intensive is the perfect first step into the world of ceramics.

If you've always wanted to try it out, but aren't sure where to start, this is it. This is the perfect class for those who are wanting a taster of what a course can offer without having to commit to a full 4 or 6 weeks. 

+ What you will make

 This is the perfect class for those who are wanting a taster of what a course can offer without having to commit to a full 4 or 6 weeks. Our expert wheel tutors take you through the wheel throwing process step-by-step, and make sure that everyone comes away making at least three pieces.  This may end up being a bowl, cup, vase.. that's completely up to you.

What will your piece look like? It might be a bit ‘organic’ and ‘perfectly imperfect’ but it will be 100% handmade by you.

+ Lesson length

In this 2.5 hour intensive class, everyone will learn to throw your very ceramic piece. 

+ No experience needed

This course is ideal for ALL potters (no experience necessary!) 

+Glazing

Wanting to glaze your pieces yourself? Book in for one of our glazing sessions so you can customise your pieces how you like. 

Please note, your pieces need to be bisque fired before they can be glazed. There will be at minimum of 2 weeks (post class) before you can book in for a glazing class. 

+ Drinks

You’re more than welcome to bring along a drink or two, although for this class we don’t recommend snacks.

(As students hands are generally too muddy to snack throughout class, we usually recommend going for lunch or dinner before or after)

Class sizes are strictly limited (sorry, you must be over 16 years to attend)
